Every few months, it never fails, I see one of my friends on Facebook change their status to "in a relationship" or (even worse for my ego) "married".
Now, sometimes I like to mock the status by analyzing how fugly the new boyfriend or girlfriend is by saying "Oh, they could do better", but with the marriage predicament?
I'm Vero Brown, I'm twenty years old and I have "Ring Envy". I'm jealous of my married friends, and I will admit, I never thought I would be.
I have fun being single (or, at least unmarried). I still dig the single's scene, with all of the dates (bad and good) and being able to go out and do who/what I want. (Very little pun intended with that!)
I just wonder, if I ever do get married, will someone be jealous of me??
Now onto other things!
About a month ago I bought a big book of Paul Simon Lyrics. OMGAHD, Do I ever love it! Paul Simon is a genius. It opened me up to some of his older writings...Kodachrome is my favorite, hands down.
Anyhow, there's beer to be cooled and facebook to be checked...see you in a while!
